EARTH
Rock becomes pigment. Handmade paints created from earth and mineral pigments collected from the landscape

WATER
The shoreline becomes subject and collaborator. Oysters, kelp, coral, aquaculture, climate change, and coastal ecosystems inform the work.

RECLAIMED
Waste becomes material. Recycled oyster shells, reclaimed coastal materials, ceramics, and other discarded materials are transformed into artwork.
Christie Jones is a Long Island eco artist and sculptor exploring the connection between art, natural materials, and coastal ecosystems.
Working across painting, sculpture, ceramics, and installation, Christie transforms earth and mineral pigments, recycled oyster shells, and reclaimed materials into artwork. Her practice explores climate change, resilience, regeneration, and our relationship to the places we call home.
